New helmet

Ok I bought a new helmet for downhill riding, a six six one full comp. What should i buy for xc riding? I have a gyro that I bought about 9 years ago, its tired and time to replace it. Any ideas?

Re: New helmet

Its what I'm leaning towards, but which one? I'm nervous about the animas, it looks like it would shatter from one good hit, but its got enough vents so I won't overheat riding in the summer.

Re: New helmet

Either an Animas or E2 would be my recommendation, I find the E2 has more than enough vents to keep you cool and is comfortable too.

In honesty though, it doesn't matter whether you get a Bell or a Giro, they're the same company now.
