Well i have heard that both AEM and Injen both have awesome Cold Air Intakes for the RSX. Now i am not sure about the increased hp with the Injen Intake but i do know from dyno charts that AEM has provided from their testing that their cold air intake on the Type-S produces 180.2 peak hp compared to the stock 167.7 peak hp. It largest gain is 12.7hp@7,250 RPM. Now i mean those are figures from their own in house testing and they provide dyno graphs on their website to show you. They also have dyno graphs for every other NEW intake they make for a lot of vehicles. I would go with the AEM Cold Air Intake if i had a new RSX Type-S. On the base RSX you only gain about 4 hp at peak and @6,250 RPM where the most hp is gained on the chart. Make your decision wisely, try getting dyno graphs from Injen and than compare. I hope i helped you.

well aem is good cuz its cai but it is not that great. injen is a sri and it out performs the aem cai until the car heats up, but if your racing and the car is hot when you race you pick up speed so the air circulates well enough. the injen dynoed a lil better than the aem. the injen takes 20 min to install while the aem you have to take off your front bumper and its a pita! so i would go with the injen all the way!

This may help you decide ...

Injen's RAI system for the RSX

Maximum Peak HP gain : +11.5HP at 7600 rpm
Maximum Peak Torque Gain: +1.6ft-lb at 6600 rpm
Maximum HP Gain vs. Stock: +12.6HP at 7300 rpm
Maximum Torque gain vs Stock: +9.2 ft-lb at 7300 rpm

Those are for the short ram intake too. Link is below.
