Question Help...need new tires

Hey all,

I have a 2003 Alero GLS (in a beautiful teal green and I am on the hunt for new tires. Any suggestions...I was looking at the Fuzion H rated tire...but wanted to get other opinions on this. I currently have the 225/50/16 Eagle RSA's at the moment...and really did like these tires...but 152 bucks a piece is too damn much :P .

Thanks,
Maureen

Re: Help...need new tires

I heard the Fuzion were good tires. Nice OTQG ratings on it. The problem I have is they are made by Firestone/Bridgestone. What are they going to cost?

And yes the RSAs are expensive.

The Yokos are good tires Andrew. Plus I know people with Kumo and they are happy with them. We went with the OEM Goodyear Eagle RSAs. Expensive but they are V rated and the Alero GL2 & GLS with the F83 suspension & handling option were designed with them. With the RSAs it will pull .83gs on a skidpad.

BTW - The cost on the Fuzions looks real good.

Re: Help...need new tires

Well, after a bit of research...I have decided to try out the Fuzion Hri's....I'm going to have them installed tomorrow...and will let you all know what I think. I really like the OEM tires that I have on the car (Eagle RS-A's)...but 152 bucks per tire is just too damn much.

Here are the specs and ratings on the Goodyear OEM tires....

Re: Help...need new tires

looks like a good value. i can't imagine paying more than $100 per tire for a typical passenger car.
