Completed: Tamiya Fiat 500F
It's done! Lots of fun to build, almost unbearably cute finished, but quite a challenge being so tiny! Next, I'm going to build something bigger (which is good, because it would be difficult to find something smaller. Maybe one of those Tamiya scooters....
Anyway, enjoy! ![]() ![]() ![]() We're finally having decent weather here, so I went out for some outdoor shots. The stonework is one of those Tamiya background sheets, and the warm Italian sunshine is simulated with our local variety. ![]() ![]()

Re: Completed: Tamiya Fiat 500F
Wow!
It must have been a hassle polishing the rear vents. How did you go about that? Good luck cleaning dusts with the open top though haha |

Re: Completed: Tamiya Fiat 500F
Very nice!
The small size of the car makes the rear plate look huge.

Re: Completed: Tamiya Fiat 500F
As they would say in Italian... "bellissimo!"
Amazing work, I can't wait to see what you can do with a larger vehicle.

Re: Completed: Tamiya Fiat 500F
Absolutely first class build!
Your designer rag top looks just the ticket Your idea of taking the photos in the daylight on that background sheet was spot-on!! I started looking around for the gelato vendor (and I wasn't thinking of Gio )

Re: Completed: Tamiya Fiat 500F
Thanks everyone! The next one will be along soon, I promise.
A Gellato cart- why didn't I think of that?? Maybe next time.kaho- I rubbed them sideways with Tamiya compound, and then gave them a wash. pirata12 - Don't have an Abarth! But I hear rumors that Tamiya may rerelease it soon.... On the other hand, if I do another 500 anytime soon, I may try to find one of these.
