New Tamiya Kits
Tamiya are about to release the full range of DTM CLK Mercs, with the superb engine and full detail that can be found on their past DTM C180 cars.
All 3 will be modelled, the D2 telephone company sponsored cars, the Warsteiner Beer and the 'Original Parts' peeled back bonnet version. Can't wait....

hehehe...Already got my order in !!!!....they should look great. If they are anything like there old DTM Cars, there will be plenty of room for extra detail

It'll be a toss up between the 'Warsteiner' car or the 'Original Teile' car for me I think!!!

Notice it has feint ORIGINAL TEILE all over the body too!
Better make sure the decalling technique is up to scratch!!!

How do you guys go about your decal work ??
I soak the decal off in warm water. Apply microscale..micro set to the body of the car then place the decal on to the body. Lightly start to brush the decal with Micro set. Get the decal into the place you want then start to brush the decal with a soft brush to get the air etc out. Keep doing this till it sits down and looks right. If the decal is not sitting correcty or is not "hugging" on around some part.....i will use a hairdryer set on warm and very carefully wave it over the decal, while at the same time still brushing it. Once in place i'd brush (a little) micro set over it and allow it to dry. This works for me
