Talking Newbie....I bring gifts!

Been hanging around here for months....love the site and the killers models! Thought I would add a few pics (didn't think there would be real gifts did ya??) of two of my cars.

These are the first two Tamiyas I purchased and love the quality.....I dont think I'll by another Revell again!!

350z- Great kit to build, but has limited chassis detail and I could not bring myself to do orange seats!

GTR34- This kit is awesome, I used Pman and Guiddy's as a guide...should finish it in a week or so.

Hope you like the pics, I'll try to do a "project" style post on my next if you like. Let me know what you think!!

Rick

Thanks for the feedback. The rims are stock/unpainted and the body color is Gunmetal from Duplicolor. I left the window trim unpainted, just looked cleaner that way. The car was painted five times total, twice silver, twice black and then gunmetal! CSC works like a charm!!

The nose was lowered slightly....just enough to level it out.

Thumbs up

Glad you guys like the work....I've come a long way just reading the tips from from this site....THANKS!!!

Forhod- I'm not a huge Nissan fan, but I do love a few of their cars and the roofline on the 350z is too smooth to resist. I have several waiting models that are nonNissan, both Modena 360 and Spyder, Porsche GT3 and a Sard Supra. Even have a B1 Lancer (USAF) that I can't wait to build, I worked on them when I served in the Air Force.

GTR needs a few more days before I can finish it up....I'll post pics when it's done.

Once again thanks for the praise, as someone said in another post, "This has to be friendliest site on the web."
