Farewell to a Friend!!!

I regret to announce to everyone the untimely passing of a good friend and a fellow Grand Prix owner, KustomKid54. Jim passed away from lung cancer that was only recently diagnosed and although he fought a brave battle he couldn't win this one. Jim loved his GTX and when he was diagnosed with cancer he sold it to someone who could enjoy it. He now drives eternally on the highways of heaven!! May God Bless both Jim and his family!!!!

Farewell Jim and rest in peace. You will be in a better place with the Lord and your GTX. You were a great friend and we had fun times on the forum amidst all the bad news from your health.

Jim's son Jamie thanks everyone on Automotive Forums and specifically the Grand Prix Forum for their sympathy and condolences.

Re: Farewell to a Friend!!!

Very sad indeed I was afraid of something like this when he hadn't been posting lately.
Although I only new him as an Aftar it was enough to know he was a nice guy.
All the best to family and friends.

Thanx for the PM bnaylor3400.

Re: Farewell to a Friend!!!

Wow, this news really kicked me in the teeth. Jim was a great man, a class act, and an asset to these forums. I wish I could have been lucky enough to know him personally. It was clear that he loved his wife and family with all his heart. Even with everything that was obviously going on with him, he took the time to wish me and my family well when my nephew passed away. His extended family here on these forums will be forever saddened by his passing, but the fond memories of his fellowship will live on in our hearts and minds forever. Peace to you Jim, and solice to your family. You're no longer in pain, and you can kick Mustang ass forever now. See you in heavens forums. God Bless your family. Rich

Holy crap that sucks. He is in a better place now, I didn’t even know he was sick. I was just thinking the other day I have not seen him on here much. I guess he is the AF angel

Re: Farewell to a Friend!!!

Although I haven't been a regular here very long, I was familiar with KustomKid54 and noticed it had been a while since I had seen him post. I too am sorry to hear of his passing and offer my condolences to the family. I'm sure he is racing down the Streets of Gold.
