custom grille
I was thinking about making an grille for my 87 like this one.
http://home.earthlink.net/~guy1139/pics/blckss6.jpg Anyone know where I could get the parts to make one? I'm sure he put the SS emblem on himself, but is that plain black grille available anywhere? thanks, Denis

If not on ebay, it looks like it'd be pretty easy to make one. Just cut out the grid leaving only the chrome frame, and put a steel screen or mesh painted flat black in the place of the grid, and then glue on an SS sign. I might actually try something like that, I have 3 spare grilles in the rafters in my garage. Maybe when the weather warms up a little.
