OFFICIAL (350Z): 287 HP, 274 torque, and aprox. 3200 lbs curb weight

Nissan expects the new Z to become the bestselling sports car in America in its first full model year.

If the brand meets its 35,000-unit sales goal, that figure would top the 33,658 Corvettes sold in 2001.

Nissan dealers have pre-sold 6,500 Zs since January.

Isn't it 287bhp @ 6200 RPM?

I just looked at the new Car and Driver.
0-60 is 5.4
0-100 is 13.9
I didn't see the top speed, anyone know it?

Doesn't it seem a little heavy?

Correct, top speed is electronically limited to 156MPH.

Also correct as far as 287HP @ 6200rpm as far as what Nissan say's all the numbers 1320B4U quoted from C&D is right on.

I also agree that the Z is a bit heavy 3322lb, but it has more than enough to cover the power to weight ratio at 11.5 to 1 and the Honda S2000 is 11.7 to 1 so it shouldn't be a problem.:sun:
