Follow up results
Hey All,
Just wanted to post a follow up on my earlier post. Just replaced DPFE sensor on wifey's 99 Taurus...it fixed the EGR flow error. Did not have to reset the SES light with OBD scanner....just disconnected negative battery cable before I removed the sensor....replaced sensor....reconnected battery cable and no more light. Also had a problem with daytime running lights constantly flashing/flickering.....pulled fuse #15 in engine compartment to disable DRL...worked like a champ. Only thing left is replacing the turn signal arm for an intermittent wiper switch problem where wipers turn on when turn signal is touched. Then it goes up for sale. Thanks again to all...great forum. Danno |

Thanks for posting the fix. Good luck on the sale. Hope you get what you need out of it.
