for paint remover i use isopropyl alcohol. For glue it all depends on the type of glue. Just check the FAQ and the search function. These items are discussed over and over again..

The more information you give in your question, the better the answers will be. What kind of paint? Is this a fully assembled kit you want to rebuild? Posting a couple of pics of what you're doing is always helpful.

For stripping all paint except enamels, use 99% isopropyl alcohol, from your local drugstore/grocery/chemist. Soak the parts in a covered container, scrub with old toothbrush as necissary.

TO unglue parts, try sticking them in the freezer for a couple of hours. Be warned, it can make the plastic brittle, so you're almost as likely to break the parts instead of removing them. there is no really safe way of ungluing parts.

Micromark got a CA Debonder I've Never tried it, but if it does what it says, then it could be worth a try.

The alcohol and brake fluid is what I have heard works.

I need a paint stripper for a plastic model that I painted with a lacquer paint. I tried citristrip and it ate the plastic. Any other strippers that are good.

If you live in North America, you can get Castrol Super Clean, it works great, it will remove the paint without damaging the plastic. It costs 5$ Can for a bottle, and you can clean multiple car with only one bottle. This stuff save 2 kits for me :-)

CSC is terrific for acrylics and enamels, but it frequently doesn't work so well for laquers. For laquers, get a bottle of 99% isopropyl alcohol at your local drug store/grocery/chemist. Use in a covered conteiner, soak overnight, and scrub off any stubborn bits with an old toothbrush.

Hi, this is probably a dumb newbie question, but is bleach that only works for the chrome covering on plastic and it won't work for paint? Was about to dip some wheels that I'm not happy with and no point if the bleach isn't going to have any effect on them!!
