I see swaps done with the 7MG to 1JZ...
Is it a direct bolt-in application? Like motor mounts/ autotrans mounts... I'm assuming wiring it in would be a basic thing, turbo/intercooler piping would be the second challenge, but nothing huge I'd think. Anywho, any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Motor questions..
The 1JZ was an engine option in the MK III. The swap is pretty much bolt in. If you have a pre 90 Supra then you will need to change the front cross member. You will need Supra 1JZ engine brackets. The rubber portion of the mount is the same as the 7MGTE. Try to get a Supra front clip to make things easy. If you go with a Soarer (Lexus SC 300) the wire harness and ECU are completly different making wiring it in a chalange.

Re: Motor questions..
Well, I'm thinking of pulling the 7M out of a Cressida and putting in a 1JZ.
Would make for a nice daily driver... just was wondering how easy it'd be, is it still the same story about the crossmember and mounts? Wiring doesn't bother me really... I know folks who can do that.
