Runs Fine...Stalls When comes to a stop
1994 $runner v6 auto
when you start it runs fine, when you put it into reverse or drive it stalls....if you press the gas and rev the engine and slap into reverse or drive it goes...when u come to a stop it bogs out vibrates and stalls any clue? |

Your torque converter may be locked up. It normally locks above 50 mph and unlocks under 45 or so. If it stays locked, you will have similar problems as you are describing. Drive the truck normally up to 60 mph and see if you see the engine revs drop around 50 mph signalling the converter has locked up. If you don't see a drop in rpms around 50 mph, then it is likely to be your converter.
