91 PA Starting Problem
I have a 1991 Buick Park Avenue Ultra (non-SC). This problem started developing about two weeks ago... when the key is placed into the ignition and turned the engine does not crank. All the lights go on and are not dim, so I don't think it's the battery, and I've changed the starter motor so I doubt it's that either. The odd thing is that when the car is left alone for several minutes after making a few attempts at starting it, it usually does start. Any ideas what else it could be? It's really frustrating not knowing whether a car will start or not after driving it somewhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: 91 PA Starting Problem
Order your copy of "VATS Gone Bad?"
Seriously, sounds like the VATS security system on the blink. |

Re: 91 PA Starting Problem
Security system is bad? Now that you've mentioned it I get a blinking "Security" light that keeps blinking for a minute or two after the car is turned on (successfully that is).
