Weber carbs?

Hi,

where can I find fairly detailed IDA Weber carburators?
Sakatsu white metal ones (looks like low detail)?
Are there any model kits that include weber carburators?
Scratchbuilding a weber set-up for a V8 will be a bitch.
Maybe I´m not looking hard enough?

Thanks in advance!

Re: Weber carbs?

Get the Sakatsu set and start from there.

Re: Weber carbs?

Try these resin items:

http://www.bestresin.com/0500.htm

Scroll down to "Weber":

45mm IDA (std flange) 1/25th

48mm IDA (std flange) 1/24th

38mm IDA on Vee manifold (std flange) 1/25th

Not sure if these are what you are looking for but R&D Uniques carries 4 different intakes w/webers:

Re: Weber carbs?

The Tamiya Lotus 7 has a pair of well molded weber carbs. I don't know how much detail you're looking for but they certainly look the part. It's not hard to find the kit online for less than $10USD.

Re: Weber carbs?

Thanks guys, that RnD unique setup look nice, bad pictures though.
I´m not looking for any superdetailed carburators, just something decent to start with. They´re going on a chevy small block, I´m going to add turned trumpets and throttle linkage.

Re: Weber carbs?

If you want to cast some yourself I can put you up with some, at least I think they'll do?
