98 Buickgs
 MY ENGINE LIGHT IS ON AND MY TRANSMISSION DOESNT CHANGE GEARS WHEN DRIVING I CAN DRIVE UP TO 70 AND THE RPM GOES TO 4 NEVER GOES DOWN. I DONT FELL IT PICKING ANY SPEED CHANGE. HEEELP

Best thing to do if you have an Autozone or Advanced Auto in your area is to get the car scanned and see what odb-ii error codes are generated. That might give you some insight as to what is wrong without speculating. Many things can cause the problem.
