Cool Can anything beat a TVR for pace?

Firstly the answer is nope....... TVRs have tremendous pace and are light wieght...... and they leave american cars for dead... the answer is to use british designed engines and to extract more power.... rather than take the engine out of a truck and leave it at that lol............ this is an example of the best of TVR >>>> Speed 12 ....... nothing comes close

So if they leave American cars for dead, then why don't TVRs dominate sports car racing (FIA GT Championship, 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Le Mans Series, and the American Le Mans Series)?

The new aluminum Corvette Z06's 505 hp LS7 weighs 71 pounds less than BMW's 5.0 liter 500 hp (SAE hp) V-10 (458 vs 529). The new Corvette Z06 is the only car sold in America with more than 400 hp that doesn't get a gas-guzzler tax.

Trucks engines have powered Viper GTS-R to numerous driver, team, and manufacturer Championships around the world (FIA GT, American Le Mans Series, Belcar, and other national series) three 24 Hours of Le Mans victories (1998, 1999, and 2000), two 24 Hours of Spa victories (2001 and 2002), etc. The Viper GTS-R helped revive top-flight, front-engined GT racing in the 1990s.

The TVR Speed 12 never went into production.

The Saleen S7 Twin Turbo has a top speed in excess of 240 mph.

Re: Can anything beat a TVR for pace?

thread was started three odd months ago by a user that is now banned.
first of all, have you read the guidelines lately, especially the bit about reviving old threads?
secondly, what were you banned for before?
