Where are you putting the cutout at? I'm eventually going to order one for my Borla system which is already designed with with a cutout but has adapter plates. The cutout is right next to the muffler, and I found a small hole right above the rear passenger tire that I'm going to route my wires through. That location might not work for you if you're cutout is going to be located further up, but just thought I would throw in a possible idea your way.

Re: electric cut out wires? header bolt torque?

From underneath the car.. Get the wires up to the engine compartment.. From there go to either side, driver or passenger side, down along the body towards the door.. There you can directly have the wires enter the inside of the car ( Basically through the door jamb.. Run the wires along the ceiling side molding, and then your basically in to put the wires where you please..... I did it when I installed a system into my 1992 firebird..
