What is CP sensor on 1997 Ford Taurus wagon
and is it hard to replace? Anyone know how to do it?

Is it a CP sensor? Or is it a CMP sensor? Or maybe a CKP sensor? If the code is a P0340 it is the CMP(Cam Positioning Sensor). Need code to help you any more.
