Jdm Rhd S14!!!!

This is a serious question and I need a serious answer. OK, I was wondering what I would have to do to make a '94 Silvia S14 legal in the states. I need all the information I can get on this and any other help. I know its possible because i see skylines and other authentic RHD cars all the time. Thanks for any help on this. I need the information asap before my car is gone. thanks!

why... the amount of money you spend bringing over a s14 would probably be more than adequate to buy a usdm s14, drop a motor, and still be practical for everyday use. imagine picking up your girl in your "uber cool jdm rhd silvia" and she has to go all the way around the car just to get in. Also you need her to pay for toll, take parking lot tickets, pay for drive thru... and that's all considering the fact you have a gf.

there's info on the net... check your state's .gov sites because it varies to where you live and want to legalize it at. I say just give it up now and settle for a nice tuned usdm car if you have that much money to waste.

im not that much in a hurry and thanks j swigz for backing me up besides the car only costs 7800 and a 900 dollar shipping fee and the money i need to pay for the wire transfer and iff you had the chance to get a RHD car for cheap or a LHD car what would you take. iv got the money saved up. i just want to know how to make it legal. and as for my girlfriend thats her problem.

hey by ne chance did you buy the car from bafta.com? and if u did then well u r a dumbass. but newayz, i wuld love ot have a jdm zenki but it aint goin to happen netime soon. but ya where did u buy it from 1 and 2 just go to ur local dmv and talk to them

Bafta.com Is A Japan Site That U Can Order Jdm Cars. Problem Is They Take Like A Year To Deliver And U Dont Get Wat U Buy. Like I Kno a Guy Who Got A Sileighty For 7gs And It Took 9 Months To Get Here. But Then There Was Dings And Dents And Parts Missin. He Was Pissed. They Are Like Semi- Scam Site.

The initial price might be cheap but you still have to get it up to US crash and emissions standards. That means the sr20 would have to go and all the glass would have to be replaced and some other stuff. Or you could find a shell s14 and swap VINS. Of course that's illegal so you can't do that but if it wasn't it would be cheaper..........

from what I understand here localy and it may be different elsewhere. it follows the same as the engine swap...has to be the year or higher in the car. so it's no more illegal or legal for the engine in the car. The glass is right...and the safty is right...although it still has the same mainfraime as the 240 here. so with very good arguing you cold use those stats for saftey. remember anything is possible but it would be easyer just to talk to your local dmv
