info on air filter cross reference

Does anybody know where there is some standard automotive air filter manufacturer size reference material? I'm looking for a 4.25 x 12.25 x 1.50 all ±.25" rectangular air filter with the plastic side moldings along the long leg, if possible. TIA Ted

Re: info on air filter cross reference

unfortunately, i've been around the fram site, called them and opened a million boxes. i was hoping maybe there is someone employed in a distribution warehouse or manufacturing facility to either verify its existance as an automotive filter or if there was a closely sized alternative for another application.

I thought they had the whole parts catalog on PDF. Oh well. If you go to a parts store and ask to see their filter catalogs (the good ones behind the counter, not the little application pamphlet on the shelves) they typically list sizes by part number.
