Fuel filter

Did you know that the new maximas have a "unserviceable" fule filter? thats right on 02's you never need to chabge it (enless you replace the fuel pump, doese any one know why nissan went this rout I know the fucker is IN the fuel tank.... I was just wondering if this has raised any issues with late model owners....

Most fuel injected vehicles have an intank boot type filter on their fuel pumps but also have a replaceable filter inline. Do our Maxima's have only a boot style intank only? The intank boot filters are not very fine. They are mostly for removing larger objects.
