turbo eclispe vs non turbo del sol

ok this guy i work with has a 1995 delsol with over 200k miles on it, he has a cat back exhaust, header,cold air intake, and removed a/c and power steering he claims to run a high 13. he says he will beat my friends 2g gst. the gst has cat back apexi exhaust, bov,and front mount intercooler with stock turbo.

is it possible for the delsol to run a 13 and beat my friend? they are both pretty good at driving stick.

Not with those mods, not even close. Your friend shouldn't have any problems.

I doubt it. I suppose it could be a close race but I'd bet on the Eclipse.

The Eclipse would fuck it. If he has any idea how to launch that is. I've driven both, the Del Sol is quick, but not as quick as a GST. Also, no way header, exhaust, and CAI will never put a Del Sol into the 13's. Maybe low 15's if hes good.

Yeah GST would beat it. Del Sol has less horsepower in higher RPM's like most VTEC's. Its a lot more reliable then the GST but not faster by any means. But you never know, until they race. Good luck.

only mod i had to do to my lancer was my tires to beat a del sol with headers, catback, intake and more. a gst with those mods with rap it.

my 2.4litre gs spyder beat a del sol n/a by alot. I was stock at the time my friend has headers and exhaust. It's a shitty car in terms of quickniess.
