Re: Sick and tired!!!!!

Yes i agree you going back to the 305 is good and all but since you have a opp to actually get a new engien just go to a junkyard or somthign find a engine out of a older car/truck and if you know how to rebuilt a engine do it yourself. I can gurantee even if the engin in the car or truck you get is blown you can prob get it for around 200 easily and a rebuild kit is around 400 , and depending on if you want after market parts there you go.

But if you can't do that then what i would do is get a crate engine from summit like a 383 or somthing if not a 350 at the least. But really it all depends on what you want for your ride, as soon as i get the chance im going to throw in a built 350 and hopuflly have it run around 350hp =) .

Good luck with your project though

Re: Sick and tired!!!!!

you can find good used 350 and such engines all day long for cheap that are reliable

and trannies too

gotta ask around

you can practically steal stuff if you find the right person at the right time

happens often

i got a hold of a 74 350 engien with remanufactured tag affixed to it, low miles, real nice engine for 150 bucks, and th350 tranny too

happens often, this has happens a million times, i usually buy whole vehicles though, with good running engines trannies, cheap

good luck
