Well, since no one else has I'll gve you a pat on the back. Looks like pulls. Definitely looks like L67 heads. Just a guess but lets say ZZP Stage 2 - 4?

Hell of a job just to get 30whp or so. What are your plans?

BTW - I spent 3 weeks in Minneapolis-St Paul and froze my butt off.

Re: Happy bday to me part 2 *1 pic*

heh naw i wish.. they're L32 heads off a 05 GTP with 1500 miles on them.. only paid 250 for them. Now my predicament is to keep the 1.6's and upgrade to 105 springs/retainers and cam it or pull the 1.9's and 95lb springs from my bronze car and put them in here.. possibly port them also since the valves are bigger slightly... Next its a Gen V w/ Northstar TB.. possibly a zzp stg 3 IC or the Wbody 3" cored IC.. looks like i have 3 months before the track opens to decide.. maybe i should focus more on the tranny?

I would never have figured that out looking from your pics without looking at the valves. Looks like a lot of potential. If you're going to do all that work might as well get the cam. I'd defintely go with porting, maybe a little milling, 4 angle valve job on the intake seats and Viton valve guide seals. What is the max. lift you can safely go with on L32 heads?

Sounds like you are going to be ready to take on Jeff Johnson with his '04 Comp G. What is the bore size of the Northstar throttle body? Will an LS1 throttle body work with that configuration?

I don't know but I can guess what ETs you are shooting for and the tranny may be your weak link. The next 3 months will fly by fast.

Re: Happy bday to me part 2 *1 pic*

northstar is a 75mm tb.. ive heard few using LS1's but most common is the N*.. If i do cam ill probably just stick with the comp cams XP cam.. doing the cam will cost around a grand w/ all supporting new parts (springs retainers pushrods valve seals cam cam install kit double roller timing chain) maybe some others.. tax money is buying a powrtuner. i guess i just want to run a steady streetable 12.. dont wanna turn it into a drag car so to speak.. hopefully i can curb my mod spending soon.. doubt that'll happen

Sounds good. ZZP used to have the LS1 TB conversion kit but it looks like it was discontinued. I liked it because Wizaired had a ready made CAI for any L67 to LS1 conversion including running an IC. LS1 TB is around 80mm.

Too bad the new 75mm throttle body on '04 and up GTP/Comp G won't work on ours. Getting the electronic throttle control system and wire throttle adapted would be a nightmare but someone will figure it out.

Good luck and let us know how the mods turn out and new ETs.
