power brake assist
My '99 Taurus just lost the power brake assist. I have to press the brakes very hard to stop. The driveability of the car also seems to be affected. I suspect a problem with the vacuum hose going to the brake booster. Is this hard to get to for inspection and replacement?
Thanks |

Re: power brake assist
The hose is easily gotten to. While you are there, check the valve it hooks to in the booster. It is a one way valve and you should be able to blow through it on one side and not the other. Look at the grommet that holds it into the booster also.
