www.automotiveforums.com

How many of you actually go into the rest of this forum? Do you go out into AF, post/browse in other sections other than modelling? Or do you use this site primarliy for our modelling/diecast community?
I have the "Automotive Art" section bookmarked. So I have never really ventured out into the world of AF. Also, we need the REAL search function back so we can't yell at the n00bs for nothing. I've tried it out. It sucks. Thanks.

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

Nope. I show up here and leave directly from here. I find the model car community the most receptive and pleasant to be among.

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

Ok, mods..Are you responsible for modding all of AF? Or were you just assigned to this section?

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

I can mod all of AF. I am specifically responsible for this section, diecast, and Fabrication.

I wander all over AF.

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

Global mod means just that, global....mods with all their user details in blue are regionals and only mod specific forums, ones with titles like GTMike400 are global and get to harass the general population too.

I frequent several forums here and visit even more on an irregular basis.

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

the site is too big and not specific enough for my tastes: honda and mazda. i go to honda - acura.net for banter, honda-tech for reasonable responses to my questions, and roadster-chat.net for miata banter. And of course specmiata.com...

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

I used to venture around, but seems to me like this section gets the most discussion, and people here are pleasant like willmo stated.

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

I did once when I first started getting on this forum, I looked at the drawing section just to check it out, but I just get on the car modeling section and leave from it. Like everyone else has said, everybody is so pleasent and helpful.

For the most part I am the same but from time to time I venture into the 1:1 car forums. I have found this is my favorite section for threads and members, i have had to deal with some interesting characters on the other sections. I pretty much stay on here for models and Honda-tech.com for real car talk (alot of awesome members there as well) and I gotta say it's a trip to hear some of those guys drool over the stuff we have here (you should post some of your builds there willimo, they would trip out on them and give you mad respect)......I hope plugging another site then my own is not a "foul"

Re: www.automotiveforums.com

I wander time to time, but I come here mainly for the car modeling, so I voted no.

The people outside the car modeling forums are mean and eat babies.
