painting the rotors...
hey guys, i have a dilemma. what paint should i use for the brakes (rotor) so it will look like the real thing? i've tried modelmaster chrome silver, but still it looks dull. any suggestion or tricks please!? tnx.

Try some Bare Metal Foil or go to photoetched rotors...

Spray the whole lot TS30 Silver leaf.....then do the disc's in Tamiya X31 and the brake pads in what ever colour you like(black/red/yellow)

Alclad II aluminum looks fantastic, you'd need an airbrush though..

well if they're not cross drilled, washers spun on a drill and scraped up a bit with an old knife look very realistic
