Interior Bulbs

I have a 2000 Infiniti G20t and was wondering if anyone has changed the bulbs in the interior of the car... (dome light or the two in front of the sunroof)? Any suggestions......

i swaped my dome out for a white hybrid dome light bulb. Looks good but still havent swaped out the 2 map lights. I did get headlight, foglight, driving light, and rear licence plate light bulbs all are piaa xtreme whites besides the 1 above the licence plate, its a hybrid black/purplie bulb.

Bulb Size

Do you know what the bulb size or model is for the map lights or the dome lights?

How can you remove the covers safely. I'm scurrrrred of touching those things because I broke one of them before. I also want to know whats the difference in the xtreme white, platinum, hyper, and so on. I don't know how they look so I really can't decide on which model PIAA should I get.

Im not sure about the interior lights to much.. but as far as I know and have been told.. arent all interior lights pretty much generic?

Somewhat like a 55watt light bulb that you'd use in your house. Where any 55watt will do.

I changed my dome light to a black light. I don't know the size of the bulb but the bulb looks like a cylinder with cones at the ends. As far as I know, I may be wrong, but I've only seen 2 sizes of these types of bulbs, a long one, and a short one. Ours is the short one. To get the dome light cover off, look in the manual and it tells you how, you use a flathead and a rag so you don't scratch the cover and pop it right off, really easy. Hope that helps!

Dome light bulb is like some weird number.

The map lights are 168 plug in bulbs

I changed my maplights and dome light to hyper white...looks dope when you turn them on.

nevermind.... found it for ya....

I replaced those bulbs a few weeks ago. The dome light is #3022 or 3175. Be Careful!! I was told by the dealer that it's 3175, but it wasn't! 3175 is too big and won't fit. I ended up using 3022. Pop off the cover and take a look before you buy. If the lens is .5 inches then it's 3022, if it's .75 inches then it's a 3175.

As for the map lights, I got bulb number 194, which I'm told is the same as 168?? In any event, both are 5 Watts.

They shouldn't cost more than about $15 total for all of them. I paid about $15, shipped.

Lol, if you did all that to your car.....wouldnt you know how to get to the map light bulbs...???? haha im just kidding. I remember seeing in the handbook that you gotta use a rag over a screwdriver and pop it open in this one spot, then you just pull them out.
