Hi everyone Im new to the board, and ive been looking for a gen 2 eclipse (95-99) for about 6-7 months now with NO success whatsoever.....Im just wondering if the GST's/GSX's are really that rare, or is it just a Detroit thing?

how could you not find them??? They're all over the place! I can find them in Canada and mitsubishi doesn't sell cars in canada (till next year or somethin like that)

All of those listings for Those cars are cars that have already been bought, believe me autotrader online is waay out of date, I actually went to the one way out in southfield and they say ppl come by and snatch those up within an hour of them being put on the floor.........

If you know of any other ways i can get ahold of one PLEAAAAASE tell me.

Gs-T you shouldn't have any trouble finding these at all there pretty simple to find .

Gs-X Yes you will have a harder time finding these they are pretty rare . I had some trouble trying to find one close to me a year ago b/c i was interested in purchaseing one of these .

It's crazy how many autotrader magazines ive purchased, how many dealers ive gone to in the past 2-3 months.
Also, about autotrader.com those listings are all old, and most of those gs-t's are sold, believe me ive talked to all of them-I would more than be happy to find a GS-X, but ive lowered my standards to a GS-T

Damn i see Gs-t models here every where i see more of those then i do the gs/rs ones. mabye washingtons got them all and you got all the crap ones A Gen1 eclipse looks just like a Talon looks just like a Lazer. they were built between the years of 1990 to 1994 then Gen 2 came out which is what you guys are talking about. try this site www.dsm.org it should be the one you dont recognize since you cant remember what they lok like.

I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE MICHIGAAAAAAAAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY is it that I cannot find any in michigan no matter what i try. Im about to leave the state and go search for some because obviously everyone in the forum can find them fine! I cant really tell you how much Ive been going through to find these cars, I almost even bought another GS recently and buying an aftermarket Turbocharger kit from hahnracingsystems...bah, MachV says b/c of the high compression I wont get nearly as much power than from the stock turbo.

I had some trouble too, I'm in Jackson. I had to suck it up and buy a Talon TSI, but personally I like the look better, although it stinks the Talon board is pretty much dead. I'm looking to find a gsx/tsi awd this winter and selling the Talon. I wonder how much I can get for it, because finding a turbo dsm here is pretty difficult, especially a low priced one or one that has been taken care of.

Michigan Blows i looked for a 2g gst/gsx for about 4 months and no success, the only ones i would find were ones with 150,000 miles and asking $12,000 FU$$ NO!!!!!! i was not going to but that so i bought a gs but even for that i had to go 65 miles to buy it.
