Who can beat AAA and Geico

Hello Experts,

I recently posted "How to deal w/ 4 points in insurance"
I actually incurred only 2 pts 2 years ago but AAA top another 2 pts on mine making it 4 pts and they quadruple my premium ... ouch!

So, I plan to switch but I heard some negative things about Geico.
Any other suggestion for a good yet affordable car ins company???

Many thanks for a timely postback,

Nee

If you can get Mercury, they've treated me well. They are advertised as a discount company but were chosen among the best for customer service and claims. That's something to consider. I'd rather pay a bit more for a premium if I knew they were going to kiss my butt when I make a claim.

Evidently, Mercury is good at both Cheap rates and good butt wiping.
