WIP: Mercedes-Benz 540k

Italeri Mercedes-Benz 540k kit. Picked it up for like 16 dollars. Very nice kit. Love the detail and look, but the instructions aren't the best.

Body is TS-11 Tamiya Maroon and TS-46 Tamiya Light Sand for the door panels and wheels. The soft roof will be flat black. Tires are in two pieces, wtf...

Re: WIP: Mercedes-Benz 540k

I was looking at the rims they provided. Two piece wires. Then I dug into my assorted rim bucket and pulled out some Ferrari F50 rims. That was just mean looking.

I know a few of y'all want some updates on this, well, I have some.

The firewall is painted maroon to match. The front and rear axle/suspension systems and drive train were painted TS-30. The interior and soft roof parts were painted satin black.
