WIP 427 Cobra

Another Revell 427 Cobra being built. Going to be bone stock probably. Body color is dark gunmetal for the stripe and black for the rest of the body. Both colors are by Tamiya. I haven't even clear coated it and it has a wonderful deep shine to it.

Was toying around with the idea of using some Ferrari (I think the Enzo) wheels. The design looks good, but it's going to be more work than I want to get them to fit into the rear without sticking out like crazy. I will probably just go with the stock wheels though. I did paint the center part gloss black to match the body. So it has a chrome lip and center cap knock off.

Chrome is being stripped off all the engine parts and are going to be painted Tamiya Chrome Silver. The red Cobra is the other one I'm working on. It needs to be stripped and repainted so I'm using it for test fitting. Interior will be black with silver accents. If I can find my flocking I might flock the floor, but I don't know yet.

Sweet build you got going here man but why strip the motor of its chrome?
Maybe its just me but chrome makes everything look great and it may look good with that black body.

I don't like the revell chrome. It's too chrome for me. Mabye it'll be gloss black and tamiya aluminum. I'm not sure yet.
