08: Canada
well...it seems like ales is getting lazy
so i'll update on F1 here's what i thought Michael - proves that he's the man yet again Rubens - he gets screwed again David - questionable 2nd place Juan - Dissapointing mechanical failure Ralf - *see above* Kimi - getting better, i'm starting like like this guy last but not least Villeneuve - I dont understand this guy. I think that he blew his engine on purpose, and that it wasn't the engine's fault. Panis was able to get 8th, that means it's not the BAR's fault. I think Jacques just didn't feel like racing. Then I find out that Villeneuve is taking up 25% of BAR's annual expenditures! If i were Jacques, I would rather just make reasonable money, and have the rest to the team for them to develop the team properly. |

Montoya would probably have won the race... Couldhart had the pole, didn't he? I maintain my favourite driver is Frentzen, Arrows just needs more money for developement, and they could contend.

2. Why's that? If anything, he got screwed by a certain Canadian who found a great place to park his car. 3. Actually, there was nothing questiuonable about that. Had Rubens not cut the chicane, he would have inherited the place. His own fault. 4. You see, that's the difference between a thinking driver and JPM (I liked him when he was in F3000 and CART, bu he suddenly acquired a rather big mouth...) Remember how MS nursed his car home? And Montoya did not. There's the result. I really doubt he could have won the race. He maybe could have caught up with MS by the last few laps but passing is a whole other story. And their fastest laps were just a few thousands of a second apart, so if needed, MS could respond. And I got the feeling that the team wanted to get Montoya out so quickly that they did not clean the sidepods properly. But that's my opinion. 5. If anything, Ralf is the one that got screwed by his team. And it's not healthy for an F1 engine to stay stationary. especially two times. 6. He's still booooring. Quote:

) Ferrari 1996 - bad car. Really bad. One of the worst. 1996 - several wins, 1997, 1998, 1999 (sort of) - Ferrari lose the championship in the last race. 200, 2001, 2002 - you know the rest.Tyrell 1998 - bad car. Craig Pollock: "We'll be looking to give McLaren and Ferrari a run for their money" (in 1999) BAR - 1999 - 0 points, 200 - 20, 2001 - 17. 2002 (so far) the only team not to have scored a single point after 8 races. JV thought he could do a Schumacher and turn the team into a winner. They've had works Honda engines (very good engines, and FREE!) for 2.5 years now ... He couldn't. He wasn't prepared to do as much work as MS (read: MUCH MUCH MUCH M U C H work). When's the last time you've seen JV test? He's a fast driver in the best car. Hence the not Michael comment, whos a fast driver (best driver, genius, etc) in any car. ![]() Alex

i'm really starting to doubt JV's dedication towards BAR it seems he's only there be for the money i remember the announcer saying there's a possibility of JV leaving BAR for renault if they also offer JV 25% of their spending money...i'm not sure if it was a joke, but it still makes me sick i'll wait until next race to really see JV's credibility, but for now...GO RALF & KIMI!
