Homemade Decals Subaru Complete (I think)

I think it's finished, but for good measure here's a couple of start to finish shots. Apologies for quality but not been too bright a day today.

1. Body painted

2. Mock up decals printed on plain paper applied to check sizes before printing onto water slide paper.

3. Decals printed on white water slide paper (Including some spares)

4. Decals applied

5. Clear coat applied

6. Assembly

7. Almost finished

8. Finishing touches added

Thanks to all for your comments which have helped spur me on to complete the job.

Very nice job, really impressed!

How about a 'how-to' on making the decals? What kind of printer/paper did you use etc.

Thanks for the comments again. The decals have blended in much better now the top clear coat has gone on.

This kit has really swung between looking ok and not so ok but although I expect it's not as perfect as some aftermarket professional decals I am pleased with the end result and would certainly have another go. And lastly it's nice to have a one off that's different and that I can relate to, having been involved with the event organisation for the rally that the car won in this livery.

Will add a 'how to' but likely to be at the weekend.

Wow that's great! Did you have a template or did it by hand?

Sweet! Is it based on a real car?
