Has no power to the starter when turning the ignition switch but I can bump the starter with a screwdriverand it will turn over and start I checked the wires on the starter and they are correct. :eek7

what year? Does your key have a chip in it? could be an ignition switch.

IF you check the purple wire at the "s" terminal of the starter solenoid, you should have power only when the key is in the start position. If you don't, try putting the car in neutral instead of park and try again. If it starts in neutral, you have a bad (or out of adjustment) neutral safety switch. If you still have no power, it's either a bad ignition switch or neutral safety switch(both park and neutral positions are bad). If the purple wire has power when the ignition is in the start position, then you have a bad starter solenoid.
