Need help with an idea.
I'm taking the '06 Revell Mustang, but I'm trying to make it styled like the Boss 429. What would be the best method to replicate the spoiler under the front bumper? I know there is a Boss Mustang model put out by Revell, but I can't find it. So, should I go with styrene then putty, just make it out of putty, or find the kit and kit bash for it?

Re: Need help with an idea.
Try to make it out of as much styrene as possible, thus the least amount of putty used the better.

Dang. I had a similar idea, and you beat me to the punch by months...
I would agree with Mike. Make it from styrene and just putty the joints. You could even use heavy card stock to make a template, then transfer it to the plastic. Then just score and bend to shape, putty the joints, sand, paint. Easy. Good luck! I can't wait to see how yours turns out.
