My big weekend in Auckland with the AF Kiwi crew has turned to custard. Even as I type this, I should be out enjoying the city nightlife (or at least,getting comfy in a guest bedroom in Westie land).I'm not allowed to drive,not allowed a drink,can't sleep and AF is as dead as all hell. Looks like my hightlight for the weekend will be watching videos and sleeping in the Lazyboy.This weekend sucks bigtime.And my mother-in-law is coming round in the morning 'to help with the children'.So I am expected to put on some half-decent clothes and have a shave.And get nagged.And get chased around the house with the vaccuum cleaner.And have the breakfast dishes all washed and put away before she gets here.Fuck,life would be easier if she didn't help at all.Hope the crew has a great time at Autosalon.Wish I could be there.

Sorry to hear that........that sucks. Fortunately when Alex and I get around to tying the knot there won't be too much "inlaw" stuff. Alex's father is on the east coast. His mother passed away many years ago. My father is gone, but my mom keeps to herself...never offers any advice unless you ask for it.

Now I SHOULD have ben going to the AS, but I realised that my Soccer game for today is at 12PM, then I told my friend I would go see a movie with her.

Then tomorrow I have to do some work for my dad at his office so I can get some cash for my new car, followed by catching up to my Maths class by finishing off my Probability unit.

that really does suck for you Mr T, hopefully you will be tip-top shape for Big Boys Toys in November, where I hope there will be another AF meet-up

It's okay naki. You'll make it through just fine. As I've seen from my own standpoint, in-laws can be a royal PITA but by doing something they don't expect, it can get them off your back for atleast a short while.

As for the Kiwi meet.... atleast you've already met some of them!!! There is some sunshine to be found in that, right? I'm sure that one day we'll have one GIANT AF meet where kiwis, yanks, and everyone will be able to sit and shoot the breeze for hours or even days!
