Inital D AE86??
i got a Q!
i have the fujimi Initial D AE86 model kit! my friend ben (MX100) told me to make it into a street racing car........ but i wanted to make it like the one in the manga!!! give me an advice on wat i should do

As quoted from previous threads, this Fujimi kit is a nightmare to build! I had so much trouble with it, I had to buy two kits to get a satisfactory result! If you are gonna mod it, I suggest not buying the Initial D kit, but the standard Fujimi kit which is only 1000 yen fro HLJ.
Good luck with the matt black side lines, they take hours to get it right! The kit is IMO also of poor quality. Be patient and careful!

If you want to be different, here's what I suggest you do. These are what people do to their real life AE86. Shave off the side moldings. Paint the car in white or other bright colors. If you must paint it 2 tone, it's either white/black or red/black or don't do it at all. GT-wing is for race versions only, for street, it's either TRD spoiler or none at all. Try using old-school rims. By old-school, I mean Hayashi, Watanabe, etc...here's a link http://www.club4ag.com/faq%20and%20t...el%20Guide.htm And if you decide to turn it into a drift car, it'll be better if you mod or made a new bumper, like Good Line. Red bucket seats look really ugly in a AE86:silly2: If if the wheels are sticking out, alittle N1 over fender wouldn't hurt. They are fenders that merely extend the exsisting ones, not the N2 style that sticks out half a tire length joining with the bumpers. Speaking of N1, an N1 canister type muffler would be nice. Be sure the exhaust pipe goes under the diff.
