whats faster a 300zx or a 240sx

ok what's faster a 300zx twin turbo or a nissan 240sx with a ka24de turbo or and sr20det. last say they have the same amount invested like 5,000. what do you guys think. and if the 300zx is faster how much faster and is it more partical to buy a 300zx over the 240sx . and give straight line and track racing

TT Z:_____6k-12k + 5k = 11k-17k(expect over 450-500whp)
240 KA-T:_2k-3k + 5k = 7k-8k (expect 400whp max(stock block))
240 SR20:_2k-3k + 5k = 7k-8k (expect 400-450whp(if you do the install))

I was trying to show him that a Stock TT Z would cost as much as a KA-T capable of 400whp on stock block(highest i would go) or an SR capable of 450whp easily. Also the Z stock is only like 275~ishwhp(just guessing). 240SX = Cheaper but TT Z = More Potential Safely
