silly people its so easy to get a r34 skyline for 41-80k depending on what model and what mileage you want if ur cheap and dont wanna pay motorex 95k then:
go to j-garage.com which sells or can find you a skyline for 15-50k most have 0-35000 miles on em (they also have tons of other cars for sale) then have it imported for 800 then take it to motrex and have them legalize it for 25000 there you have it easy R34 for 41000(used)-80000(new) motorex gets their money you get your R34 everyones happy or just have an r34 imported add some big turbos and run when a cop chases you price:20k-60k PS: If the R35GT-R (not the sedan out now) does well then its coming to the U.S. complements of NISSAN Last edited by tenshikid916; 06-04-2002 at 09:25 PM. |

I talked to the folks at Motorex. They do private imports. If you look on their site, they even say it. The only problem is that you have to pay bond fees, duties, customs broker fees, and of course, shipping. Depending on the year of your car it will run between US$3000-5000 in addition to the "conversion" fees. From my understanding, it is totally feasible to get an R34 for much, much less than they charge.

At what site(s) can you go to, to find out how much those custom broker fees and the others cost?

Call customs. I'm sure they could tell you right away.

the hardest part is getting it into the country all you really have to do is show up at the docks and fill out the proper paper work(hs somthing i forget)tell them it's not for street use park it and convert it your self it's only a couple of sensors.

I heard that they want you to go to a certified location for that type of stuff ... ??? If it was as e-z as you say ... then i found me a Metalic Silver R33 for around 12,000 US$ ... ? I can only DREAM ... !!! |
