Re: Looking for a LEGAL R34
There were a few that were legalized before DOT and EPA figured out what was going on with the OBDII problems... A FEW.
Chances are, you wont get one of those guys to let theirs go. I sure as hell wouldnt. There are two things that talk in this world. Ones your mouth, and one is your money. I am hoping you have a lot of money. May I ask if you have the $80,000+ that your going to need to pay off one of these guys? Im seriously not trying to harp on you... Im just asking. Maybe someone wants to get rid of one? Who knows. But I dont know many people who will be able to afford it. Once again... Why I am dreaming for R32. Cheaper, Similar Perfomance as new GTR's, and MUCH easier to lay your hands on. In my opinion... -Wes

Re: Looking for a LEGAL R34
I am still a little confused...does this mean that there will no longer be legal R34s able to buy...or do I just have to wait until motorex gets it together...and there is that one site that has a R34 v spec for 72,000 and it says that it is 100% street legal so I just don't know what to believe anymore...

Re: Looking for a LEGAL R34
ODBII (On-Board Diagnostics level II) standards layed out by the DOT and EPA have ceased the further legalization of Skylines past the year 1995. Which means that ANY Skyline 1996+ cannot, and will not ever be legalized. Until someone can figure out a way to make the Skylines OBDI system, complyable with OBDII... Get it now?
MotoRex was legalizing Post-1995 Skylines oblivious to these standards. They had legalized a few R34's, when DOT and EPA pointed it out to them, thus; MotoRex ceased legalization of Post-1995 Skylines... So there ARE some out there. But im certain that if you did con someone into selling theirs... It wont be very cheap. Understand now? -Wes
