Thumbs up

Dinner was cool. It was weird how Saturday turned out. Around noon, my old friend Sarah called. She was once a member of the late PureHonda.com and we used to kick it all the time. Anywayz... she called and said that I should come to a BBQ in Renton with her since she hasn't seen me in so long. The BBQ was for members of NWHonda.net... so I signed up and went to the BBQ at 3:00. Between 25-30 people showed up at this guyz house and our cars lined the streets all the way down, around the cul de sac, and all the way back up the street. His house was WAY into a large quiet neighborhood and you should have seen all the people outside staring at us as we snaked our way through the maze of houses to get to his house. So yeah... it was hella fun... there was HELLA food and the guyz parents were cool. Me and Sarah stayed there until 7:00 and then we took off to Everett to go to her house for a little bit. Then we went back towards Federal Way to meet at Applebee's. On the way there, we messed around on the freeway and caught up with these 2 nice 3rd gen Eclipses. I was catching up with Sarah and we were both weaving in and out of traffic and I tried to cut into the left lane and as I was changing lanes I almost hit one of the guyz in the Eclipse's. Man... that made me hella nervous. I hope I find that guy so I can appologize to him. I didn't know that they were both catching up with us.

Okay... anywayz. We finally got to Applebee's and met up with the DragLab.com group. Everybody there was hella cool. The thing I noticed was that the NWHonda.net group was mostly teenagers and a few young adults. I think the oldest member that showed was a 28 year old girl. But with DragLab.com... there are a lot more older members... but it was all good. I met Jenn and nobody had any clue that she was sooooo short. Hehehe. I tried to hold back laughter when she got EXTREMELY pissed off when she ordered a hot fudge sunday and they brought here a plate with a slice of fudge on it and a scoop of ice cream on the side. Man... that was hilarious... she was flippin' out. Maybe we should have met at Dairy Queen?

So yeah... it was a pretty cool Saturday. I met hella people who all enjoy the same hobby as me. I'll let you know if we have another meet coming up.

Oh yeah... I never knew DragLab.com was so big. I mean... the guyz had their own business cards, t-shirts, etc... and the guy I talked to says he's going to advertise in magazines. They even have a big sign somewhere.

wow thats cool, but its funny how things never turn out the way you plan. Thats funny about the ice cream too. What would also be funny is if you told them it was her birthday and have them sing to her.
