how do u install a tach on a 1991 cavalier? with no factory tach

Actually 2nd gens were DIS, as well. They phased out distributors after the first half of the first generation.

Oh yeah, and while the body changed in 95, the 2.2 motor made the generation jump in 94, not 95. But thats irrelevant to your point, and your point was irrelevant to his question.
