i cant answer your question but i can tell you thread isnt gona help you unless you go buy a cavalier with a distributorless ignition system, ( i think thats any cavalier made after 1995)

Actually 2nd gens were DIS, as well. They phased out distributors after the first half of the first generation.

Oh yeah, and while the body changed in 95, the 2.2 motor made the generation jump in 94, not 95. But thats irrelevant to your point, and your point was irrelevant to his question.
