What do you think of this?

http://hardware.hardwarestore.com/27-104-roll-valley-flashings/3-oz-copper-flashing-8-x-20''--630451.aspx
I bought a whole roll of it last night at the Depot, it is very thin and very easy to work with and comes in 20 feet rolls, so I've enough for a long time, now I have to start using it!:-)

Re: What do you think of this?

I'm already building the entire front of the Sauber C9 in that copper, it looks to scale and might use i for the rear wing. i don't have a digital camera, only 35mm and it would take a while to get pics uploaded....

Well there ya go!!! That's the info that was missing from your first post!

Love browsing HD and other hardware stores for scratch buildin' stuff. . . Especially the well stocked ones that have a separate dept. with cases upon cases of misc. parts, screws, bolts, springs, etc. . .

Could spend the entire day there goin' through all that stuff. . .

Re: What do you think of this?

my wife gets mad at me for "browsing" when we go to home depot, or any other store that may sell stuff I can use for modelling.

Re: Re: What do you think of this?

I hear ya!!!

When they were younger, I'd tell my kids "Be good or we'll be goin' to the hobby shop"!!!

Usually followed by a long wail "Nooooooo, We don't wanna go to the hobby shooooop!!!"
