i put my new hood on the other day. it is the carlos sainz version in carbon fiber, courtesy of jaybratt. he got me a reallly good deal. i also picked up some carbon fiber decaL junk to put over the headlights. it doesnt match exactly but it is close enough and matches better than the red.

yea its there to let air out of the engine bay

nice hood, id take off the carbon fiber stuff off the headlights, makes it look better imo

nice. Looks pretty clean without looking too riced up. Looks like your right head light needs to be adjusted or something doesn't line up exactly with the hood.

yea i know whoever owned it b4 me, like 5 people, heck this car was stolen and impounded at one time, but they did a piss poor job of lining the body and panels back up. but i should be getting it painted in january and my uncle is gonna help me so we will get all that junk straightened out.

yes it is lowered, its hard to tell on the wierd slope though. i would have moved it somewhere else to take the pic, somewhere level and out of the sun, but my radiator is getting fixed and i was supposed to have it back on last weekend but the radiator shop was closed all thanksgiving break.

whats wrong with my headlight covers? i thought the red looked a little off with the carbon fiber so i bought some off ebay and slapped it on. i wish i couldhave got the right shade though.

Hey my hood arrived 5 minutes ago.. I like your headlight covers, do you remember what you searched to find them on ebay? i cant find them anywhere and i agree the red looks off with the carbon fiber.

search for carbon fiber sheet. there will be several items some are actual sheets of real cf and some are just the decals.

you think so? thanks i was wanting sonme of you guys honest opinions about the headlight cause im not sure if they look good or not. from far away it does look all one shade though. plus the sun was so bright, it made my crappy paint job really stick out. man i need to get that thing painted.

The big hole in the bonnet is as 91st said to let air out of the engine bay...the liitle hole by its side is an inlet for cooling air to the cambelt...In hot weather the cambelts ran too hot in the rally cars and were prone to snapping. Not a problem on road cars though.

I think it looks damn nice and it is good to see the headlights different. If you get the car painted a color closer to CF I would go back to painted headlights. Like if it was black or gun metal paint. With the red I like the headlights covered though. I am glad the hood looks so good. Seibon is pretty nice.

Yeah nice hood. I know what you mean about the paint. my car is red and looks like shit. Texas sun faded it bad.
