I just got a $30 exhaust from Kragens for my 85 Honda Accord that is an automatic. Its the kind that screws onto your exhaust pipe after the muffler, I didn't really notice a increase in loudness, did I do something wrong? Or will it just not really do anything for me?

if you want a cheap solution for a 1" rusted tailpipe, thats fine. extention muffler tips are just for looks(and not very many at that). i must admit i had one for a while, but only cause i didnt have 200 to plop down for a real muffler. if all you want is looks, get a nice chrome tip and have a shop weld it on, dont just keep it screwed on, its not very stable. but if you want a nice sound, youre gonna have to dig deep and pay for a real muffler.
around here the apexi ws is very popular, but i cant afford that shit. |

i think you just got a tip, which i think is for looks. if i were u i would just buy a universal muffler for $100. you will be satisfied.
