Wip:1984 Gmc

Oh my crazy horse saloon, I have flipped my lid!!!!!!!! Yep, not my normal build, who said I was normal anyway? Thats what is so cool about this hobby, you can step outta your box every now and then and build something different!! This is the AMT 1984 GMC body and I will be using the Revell Mad-Mudder chassis, suspension and wheels/tires! The frame is going to be stretched a bit and the body will be raised a tad also! This is the mock-up so far:

Feedback and comments welcome!! Ol' Dude
Remember, you can try something different, it might help you improve in other places you are lacking in!!! Don't be scared!!

Looks great so far. Too bad you're not gonna put a little rust here and there and a faded paint job - all these pictures make me think of someone's old truck they keep at their huntin' camp. Whatever you do with it, I'm sure it's gonna be cool.

Looking good Dennis, that's one of my favorite years of pickup trucks. It looks like a truck should look!!

So far I haven't tried anything else! You know how the bed has the seems around the fuel filler doors, well I gouged them out some and puttied over it! When I applied my primer, they ghosted bad!!! So I re-applied some putty and I'm letting it sit in the dehydrator for a couple of days!!
