another 360 spider...

My friend, D_Lamz, has been telling me to post pictures of my recently completed 360 Spider.

I have been pretty lazy to do it, until now...so...here it is...BRING ON THE COMMENTS!

By the way, there isn't any clear coat.

Is clear coat/laqcuer/clear matte the same thing??

(Revell 1/24)

*The awkward space on the right-side door is where I tried to open the doors, but it didn't work, so I just glued it back on.

Re: another 360 spider...

ewwwww...............
look at that orange peel!
no clear coat could be lacquer, acrylic, etc.
clear matt is for dull finishes.
Bad comments are given because you never helped me on the World History project!

Re: another 360 spider...

You should have left the door glued in an open position. Looks good otherwise, aside from the dull finish. Keep up the awsome work!

Re: another 360 spider...

Yeah, looks like a sound build except for the orange peel: Rub that out, boy! LOL

Seems like there is a larger gap on the passenger door, illusion or wider outline?

Re: another 360 spider...

Not bad. Your orange peel problem is pretty endemic so don't beat yourself up over it, just keep practicing. Nice work.

be understanding with this guy, please
Basiccally coolaznk.. you stll using wrong materials to me: if spray cans I think you used an hard solvent-paint like nitro paint who could hardly attack polystirene, if you still using AB add more thinner, like milk thickness, do practice and have a look on those masters FAQ and HT
good begin, I don't done better the first (may be never just now )

Re: another 360 spider...

it looks alright in my opinion. only the paint is too tick(is that what you guys mean with orange peel?) also, with the door(but you already told us about it) and what wrong with the rear bumper(5th picture)? it looks that it hit a car with the back bumper orso but that its still clipped on?

did you painted the black part by the taillights or did it come like that?

nice build though

I see a lot of orange peel, but nevertheless it's a quite nice model.

No reason to act like an asshat. (I know it's probably a joke between you two)
Not bad, everybody has to start somewhere. Have a good read of the FAQ coolaznkid, there is plenty of info in there on how to improve the paint finish.

The detail (interior and engine) look nice...
but that textured finish is a killer.

It's not too bad. The orange peel is letting it down a little, but it's not bad. Preperation is the key to a good paint job. Rallyraider as always has the best idea. Read the FAQ and practice some more.

You'll get better, and then soon you will dazzle us with mirror like paintjobs..
