Re: Getting a Tamiya Sauber C9

IF in doubt just follow the kit's recommendations for Tamiya paints. If it is a reissue it will recommend a TS range for the body, probably TS-17 Gloss Aluminium. If original issue it will recommend some other bottle paint or mix.

Re: Getting a Tamiya Sauber C9

If you want to build the model anywhere near accurate, yes you do need all of them.

Keep in mind, if you keep at car modelling, most of those colors you'll only buy once.

No, Tamiya makes all their kits with little tabs so they simply snap together....

You are an evil, evil man Ray.

The paints on the Tamiya site are the SUGGESTED paints required. You can build and paint your model any way you want too. Yes you will have to glue this one together, or you can put the glue in the box and shake it up and a perfectly built Tamiya will come out.

Hi there,I just found this site while searching for info about this Sauber kit.I work in a hobby shop and I have it on order at the moment,i can't wait! Has anyone here done the kit? I just want to know what the detail is like, hoping it hasn't a one piece body like the Shell 962 I got recently.
